Washington DC

On Monday we had to leave. First we went to the Capital. We went to the Supreme Court on the day they were making the new lawyers part of the Supreme Court. Then we got to take a tour of the Supreme Court. We went to the Indian Museum. We went to the Air & Space Museum. We went to the Smithsonian Castle. We went to the Old Post Office. We got to ride the Metro and have dinner with Chris. I really like him because he took me to McDonald's. Then I was sad because we had to leave. It was fun to ride an airplane again. Then we got in a van with black dots and it took us to our car. We drove home and went to bed. It was a fun trip.

My mom says to click on the picture and then it will be bigger. I just took too many pictures to make them all big.

Washington DC - Sunday

On Sunday we went to the house where Abraham Lincoln died. I went to a museum and saw lots of art work. I ate lunch at a very scary McDonald's. People kept asking us for money and a man in a wheel chair kept starring at my mom. My mom moved her bag and we saw that we were sitting at the handicapped table. We had to leave even though I wasn't finished with my french fries. We didn't say sorry because Chris said if we did the man would have asked for money. We went to the Holocaust Museum which is very sad. I wrote a letter for Daniel he survived the concentration camp. I went through his house and learned about him and how he survived. I went to the Jefferson Memorial. Then we went to Sister Fluegel's house for dinner. She has a nice Grandma at her house. She is an awesome Grandma. I really liked her and was sad to leave. She let me play my DS at the dinner table. Then we sang songs with Baby Emily. I kinda like Emily now.

Washington DC - Saturday

On Saturday we went to the Pentagon where PawPaw used to work. We saw a very good September 11 memorial. We went to Arlington Cemetery where we met an old white squirrel. Chris told me he thinks it is the President's Squirrel. We had to watch the changing of the guard at the tomb but I just wanted to go find the white squirrel. I guess 21 is a very important number. I can't remember why but Chris told me. We saw a lot of dead people's graves. Chris has a friend buried there and my Grandma and Paw paw used to live by the cemetery. We got a little lost and because of that we got tickets to the White House. I stood in the driveway where the dogs of the president have played. My friend at school told me that I wouldn't get close to the White House but we were so lucky we got to go in. My mom told the guard what John said and he said well bring her up here and take her picture. I was closer than anyone else has ever been. Chris and I planted a flower and we are going to see if mine can beat his. We are lucky that I had my lucky jacket. We also went to an Indian Prayer Vigil for the Earth. We saw a lot of things. Chris likes to take funny pictures. He took us the long way to see the Vietnam Memorial. We walked all the way back to the WWII monument before we realized it was all the way back at the other end by the other two memorials. We had to walk all the way back down there and then all the way back to get on the Metro. My mom finally gave him a map. It helped a lot.

Washington DC - Friday

I just got home from school and my mom has finally got my pictures ready for me. I took a lot of pictures but my mom took more. To see the pictures my mom say you have to click it.

These are from Friday. My first airplane ride and going to the zoo. They let me sit in the seat of the pilot. I got to see a Komodo Dragon at the zoo. I bought a tiger and I named him Chris. We went with my mom's friend and her baby. At first I was not happy but I had a fun day and the baby was nice. She never even cried. Oh wait she cried one time. We got to go on more escaltors for the Metro. I really like the Metro. My mom and I went to the Musuem of Natural History. There was a huge elephant there and a diamond that my mom wants. It's the Hope diamond. I liked the bugs and rocks the best. Oh and the animals. They had my favorite animal it was dead. It was a wolf. They are so pretty. Then we went to meet my cousin Chris. He told me he didn't have any electricity but he did have a candle so we could all share it. He told me he only had one pillow and one blanket. When we got there I was so glad he had electricity but it was cold enough to snow in his house. He loves it cold but he did turn on the heat and then we were warmer. I think he has a penguin living there. He is really funny.
